What's the deal?
Apply
Submit the application form below. We’ll notify the successful applicants and post the results on our Facebook page — be sure to follow us to stay informed.
Discovery
We’ll contact the successful applicants via email, verify expected outcomes and kick off the process.
Design and Build
We’ll work with you to design and build a single page site that fits your business. You give feedback at each stage to flag issues or suggest improvements.
Launch
Once the site is live, we’ll promote it on social media. You will own the site and its contents.
Is this right for you?
Local Business
Our focus is on helping local business, so best if you’re in the Taupo region. This makes it easier for us to meet in person if necessary for troubleshooting.
No Existing Website
We want to help businesses with no site to get started. If you do already have a site though, we may make an exception for you depending on the details you provide.
Social Engagement
It would be great if we get to show off the end result on our social pages. You’ll get to promote your business, we get to display our work.
What's the catch?
- Only 2 applicants will be selected to take part
- The results will be posted on our Facebook page on Friday 11 September
- You will need to be able to prove that you either own the business that the site is for, or have the authority to act on its behalf
- You must be prepared to start the project within 2 weeks and see it through to completion
- You must be willing to let us use your website project for marketing purposes, including posts to social media and the inclusion of an unobtrusive link to our website in your footer.
- The site will be a static, single page, designed to enhance SEO, and responsive for devices. A contact form is included if required, but no user signup/authentication, database, online payments or complex functionality.
- Applications must be received by COB on Thursday 10 September
- The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
- Charities, clubs and organisations welcome to apply - bonus points if you benefit the local community
- Domains and hosting are not included. We can help you get these set up if necessary or you can arrange your own
- Your site will not be allowed to contain any objectionable material and we reserve the right to refuse at our own discretion
- You will own the website files after the project is completed and are under no obligation to have Easy Online Solutions arrange hosting for you. We ask that the site will be hosted for at least 30 days after launch, so that it is available for marketing purposes
